Confident in every job: how Beyond Mars invests in training
At Beyond Mars, we believe great work starts before your first shift. That’s why we strongly invest in training and preparation. Not as an extra hurdle, but as a way to give you confidence. This way, you step into every job with the right knowledge, skills and peace of mind, ready to shine.
1. Beyond the Serve: learning by doing
Anyone who wants to work within Beyond the Serve always starts with a training. After an initial screening, you follow a practical course where you learn the basics of catering. From carrying trays and plates correctly to pouring beers and working efficiently behind the bar.
After the training, there is a short evaluation so we can assess together where you stand and how you can continue to grow. This ensures you never arrive at an event unprepared and always know exactly what is expected of you.
2. Informant training: knowledge that matters on the spot
At large-scale events such as the Motor Show, product knowledge is essential. That’s why mandatory informant trainings are organised several weeks in advance. You gain in-depth knowledge about the products, brands and their stories, allowing you to answer questions smoothly and guide visitors with confidence.
The result? Less stress on the floor, more confidence in your role, and a stronger experience for every visitor.
3. Learning directly from the brand
Preparation also plays a key role in sampling actions. For projects like Santa Maria sampling, we invite our crew in advance to test the products and receive explanations directly from the brand. You taste, learn and ask questions before the activation even starts. This way, you’re not just handing out samples, you represent the brand with knowledge and conviction.
